Ingredients & Their Benefits:
Tallow (Beef or Sheep Fat)
Benefits: Deeply moisturizing, rich in palmitic, stearic, and oleic fatty acids, which help nourish and protect the skin. Creates a hard, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather.
Coconut Oil
Benefits: Excellent cleansing properties, produces a rich lather, and adds hardness to the soap. Can be drying in high amounts, but balanced here by other oils.
Olive Oil
Benefits: Highly conditioning, gentle on the skin, and adds a silky, moisturizing lather. Helps maintain skin’s moisture barrier.
Pine Needle Fragrance Oil
Benefits: Provides a fresh, woodsy scent (not essential oil, but a synthetic/nature-identical fragrance). Adds an aromatic experience.
Mica Powder
Benefits: A natural mineral colorant that gives the soap a subtle or vibrant hue (depending on usage). Non-toxic and adds visual appeal.
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)
Necessary for saponification (turning oils into soap). No lye = no soap! Fully reacts in the process, leaving no lye in the final product.
Distilled Water
Used to dissolve lye safely. Distilled ensures no impurities interfere with the soap-making process.

✔ Cleansing but not stripping (balanced by coconut oil)
